Turner & Townsend is seeking an MEP Design Associate Director to partner with our team and client, supporting design leadership for new and existing construction builds with a focus on data center development. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge data center infrastructure projects with a leading technology client.
The Design Project Manager will work closely with mechanical and electrical systems, leveraging deep experience in MEP design, engineering leadership, and data center infrastructure. This position reports to the assigned Project Manager(s) or Project Director and has frequent interaction with Owners/Clients, consultants, design professionals, and contractors.
Directly assist Project Managers in managing, coordinating, and administering projects through all phases of design and construction, with emphasis on electrical and mechanical system design leadership. Ensure client services are delivered at the highest level, providing technical guidance on concurrently maintainable electrical power and mechanical systems. Aid in preparing documents including reports, schedules, invoices, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, daily reports, change orders, inspections, and closeout documentation. Coordinate project team meetings and communicate conceptual design strategies. Support programming, design, and construction phases using project management software.
Strong background in mechanical and electrical systems is essential. Deep experience in MEP design, engineering leadership, and data center infrastructure required. Excellent client-facing communication skills and ability to work with diverse project stakeholders. Proficiency in project management software and documentation preparation.
