NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution is seeking a Manager of Revenue to join our operational accounting team in Universal City, California. This role oversees operational accounting with a focus on the order-to-cash process, playing a critical part in our content licensing and distribution operations across the U.S., Canada, and over 200 territories internationally.
Our content portfolio includes a vast library of more than 6,500 feature films and 170,000 television episodes from Universal Pictures, Focus Features, Universal Television, UCP, DreamWorks Animation, Telemundo, and more. This role is responsible for creating and revising production contracts in the revenue subledger system, managing key contractual event dates that drive billing and revenue recognition.
You will review proposed revenue transactions and manage the billing processes while supporting the team in performing accounting functions. Responsibilities include monthly close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and ad hoc analysis and reporting tasks. This role reports to the Director of Accounting and is essential to maintaining accurate financial records.
The ideal candidate brings strong accounting expertise with focus on revenue recognition and billing processes. Experience with contract management, subledger systems, and order-to-cash operations is essential. You will work with diverse content licensing agreements while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
