The Access Manager position at Northwestern Memorial Healthcare represents a leadership opportunity within the NMHC Access Division. This role adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program while driving operational excellence across multiple service areas.
As Access Manager, you will lead operations encompassing registration desks, practice and hospital scheduling, hospital operators, physician referral services, financial clearance, and financial counseling services across the entire NM System. You will be accountable for fiscal management, human resource oversight, and quality outcomes for your defined service areas.
This position requires placing patient and customer needs as the first priority while demonstrating skills necessary to meet and exceed expectations. You will engage teams through clearly defined and communicated visions, fostering an environment where individuals and groups work together to achieve organizational goals.
The Access Manager is responsible for identifying and developing organizational talent while embracing continuous learning for self and others. You will oversee all aspects of service provision including safety maintenance, performance optimization, quality assurance, practice guideline adherence, service delivery excellence, and patient satisfaction.
Financial control and accountability are central to this role, including establishing and monitoring operating and capital budgets. You will translate the organization's mission and objectives into actionable departmental strategies.
