The Lube Technician position at Honda of Stevens Creek is responsible for performing quick service and routine maintenance to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition. This role is critical to delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest standards of vehicle care and safety.
You will perform oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid top-offs for customer vehicles with efficiency and precision. Your duties include conducting tire inspections, patching tires, and checking air pressure to ensure safe operation. You will inspect and replace air and cabin filters as needed, and ensure vehicle fluids including brake, transmission, and coolant are at proper levels.
You will perform quick inspections of belts, hoses, and other basic vehicle components, identifying potential issues before they become major problems. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment while adhering to dealership and industry standards is essential. You will ensure all equipment is in proper working order, especially the lifts, and follow all company safety policies and procedures, immediately reporting any accidents to a manager or supervisor.
A valid driver's license and good driving record are required. All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA and able to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license verification. Preferred candidates will have 1+ years of Automotive Service Technician experience or tire/oil change experience.
ASE Certification and/or trade school certification is highly valued. We seek individuals with strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, Subaru or multi-brand experience, and a strong work ethic who thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ability to follow directions, willingness to learn, and mentor teammates while respecting others is essential.
