Poway Honda is seeking a Lot Porter to join their service team. This position is responsible for moving service customer vehicles to ensure smooth and efficient traffic flow through the facility and increase customer convenience while maintaining an orderly service parking area.
You will greet all customers entering the service area with a friendly, upbeat professional attitude, answer their questions, and direct them to the appropriate person or location. Determining if customers coming into service have an appointment and recording customer's name, VIN, tag number, mileage, and existing vehicle damage through walk-around inspections are essential duties.
You will control service traffic flow, parking, and assist with loaner vehicles as needed. Parking vehicles after they have been written up and driving safely with zero lot damage as the goal and expectation are critical. You will retrieve customer vehicles at cashier for pick-up, wait at vehicle for customer, and thank customers for their business.
Installing disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, and I.D. tags in all vehicles taken in for service is required. You will deliver keys and repair order hard copies to the appropriate Service Advisor immediately after parking a vehicle. Maintaining a clean and safe service drive area, free of trash, water, leaves, and dirt, and making key tags for vehicles are ongoing responsibilities.
