We are seeking an experienced Leasing Operations Manager to establish and execute the operational foundation for a newly formed retail leasing business unit. This role is highly hands-on, focused on developing workflows, policies, compliance standards, reporting systems, and cross-functional processes that enable a scalable leasing platform.
The ideal candidate is self-directed, operationally rigorous, and comfortable working in ambiguous environments, partnering across legal, finance, brokerage, and back-office teams to create structure and consistency. This role will serve as the operational architect for the retail leasing function, supporting long-term growth, compliance, and performance tracking.
The base salary range for this role is $125,000– $145,000 per year. This position is eligible for a discretionary performance‑based bonus. The exact bonus amount is not guaranteed and will vary based on individual performance, team results, and company performance. . Actual pay will be determined by factors such as education, experience, and job-related skills relevant to the role. Responsibilities:
Establish and execute the operational foundation for a newly formed retail leasing business unit, including end‑to‑end workflows from initial stages through execution, documentation, and lease administration. Design, implement, and document standardized business processes, policies, procedures, and SOPs to support scalable leasing operations. Build and maintain compliance frameworks, documentation standards, internal controls, and audit readiness in partnership with Legal and Compliance teams. Develop systems and tools to track leasing activity, pipeline, and performance metrics, including dashboards and leadership reporting. Partner cross‑functionally with Legal, Finance, Operations, Accounting, Brokerage, and Field leadership to support leasing transactions and approvals. Coordinate deal flow, documentation, approvals, and data accuracy across all leasing activities. Establish governance and operational cadence, including periodic internal reviews and audits to ensure process adherence and improvement. Support market expansion and new leasing initiatives by adapting workflows and operational frameworks across multiple geographic markets. Ensure data integrity, recordkeeping, and reporting accuracy within leasing systems and trackers. Provide operational guidance and process support to leasing teams as the business unit scales. Conduct market and competitive research as needed to inform operational frameworks and support leadership decision-making.
Qualifications:
7–12 years of progressive leasing experience required, with demonstrated focus on leasing operations, administration, and execution. Exceptional oral and written communication, interpersonal and influencing skills. Strong sense of urgency with a commitment to quality and follow through. Strong business acumen, decision-making and negotiation skills. Must be a self-motivated individual with the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated success standing up new business units, markets, or operational functions, including creating processes from the ground up. Strong working knowledge of lease structures, lease administration, and contractual compliance requirements. Hands-on experience managing end‑to‑end deal flow, including documentation, approvals, system entry, and data accuracy. Experience developing, documenting, and enforcing policies, procedures, and SOPs for leasing and back‑office teams. Strong process design, operational efficiency, and controls skill set. Highly effective in ambiguous, evolving environments, including early‑stage, growth‑stage, or restructuring scenarios. Highly organized and detail‑oriented, with strong prioritization and execution skills. Bachelor’s Degrees or equivalent work experience required.
