Casual position based in Girraween NSW, Australia Shift times: Monday to Friday; multiple shifts - 4AM to 12PM OR 12PM to 4AM OR 10PM to 2AM OR 8PM to 4AM An extra 1.5% superannuation paid on top of National standard rate. Reporting to the Team Leader, a Laboratory Technician (Soil Weighout Officer) is responsible for the sub-sampling and weigh-out of samples, and transfer to the prep laboratory for extraction. Other duties include assisting with sample receipt as necessary. Key accountabilities will include but not limited to: • Using the LIMS priority worklist to determine which job is next in priority for processing and printing out stickers for each container or subsample required. • Homogenising and weighing subsamples and QA/QC. • Transfer of subsamples to the appropriate section of the laboratory. • Assist in sample receipt. • Assist with sample disposal. • General housekeeping. • Act in accordance with the Eurofins Code of Ethics, and all other relevant policies and procedures, as updated from time to time.
