The Finance Manager position at Toyota of Santa Fe is responsible for ensuring the dealership meets its unit sales quotas and gross objectives on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis. This role also focuses on producing additional revenue through finance and insurance product sales.
You will make monthly projections of vehicle requirements by department for the immediate 90-day sales period. Determining monthly and yearly forecasts in terms of unit sales, gross profit objectives, and departmental profits is essential for planning and performance.
Selling financing and other finance and insurance products to customers, including Extended Warranties and all other aftermarket items, is a core function. You will establish and maintain good working relationships with several finance sources, factory representatives, and other partners.
Submitting paperwork to and obtaining approval from finance sources on all finance deals requires attention to detail. Meeting with each salesperson as early as possible every day to review yesterday's results and today's plan of action ensures alignment and accountability.
Conducting sales meetings and facilitating pre-delivery with the Service Manager demonstrates cross-departmental collaboration. Handling all rate quotations and checking all paperwork for correct title, lien information, taxes, etc. ensures compliance and accuracy.
The F&I Manager has responsibility to log in sales income, verify insurance with customers' agents, obtain deposits, and verify trade payoffs. This comprehensive role requires strong organizational and financial skills.
