Under general supervision, the Finance College Intern provides valuable administrative support to the accounting team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for college students to gain practical experience in finance and accounting operations while contributing to meaningful projects.
Interns will assist with preparation and maintenance of financial records and compiling reports. Participants will engage in the financial close process across various areas including general ledger, SEC reporting, tax, cost accounting, and forecasting. The role includes processing purchase orders, check requisitions, employee requests, sales reports, and other forms.
Interns will analyze financial data using industry-standard software tools such as Tableau, Workiva, and Excel. This hands-on experience provides valuable technical skills highly sought after in the finance industry.
Participants will join team meetings and collaborate with other departments on finance-related projects. The role requires adherence to the Company's Quality Management System and understanding of security, privacy, and compliance principles applicable to the organization.
Minimum requirement is high school diploma with 1+ years of college experience in finance, accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience. This internship is ideal for students pursuing degrees in finance, accounting, or related business fields.
