NBCUniversal is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead building operations for our Washington, D.C. local media businesses, including NBC4, Telemundo 44, and the Washington Bureau of NBC News. This position is part of the Operations and Technology division and offers an opportunity to join a dynamic team delivering best-in-class services and experiences to clients and guests.
The Facilities Manager will provide overall facilities management support for production and administrative operations. You will oversee NBCU's owned television station facility (approximately 200K square feet) and the DC Bureau (approximately 90K square feet) encompassing production, technical, and commercial office spaces. This role includes direct management of a team of Building Engineers based on-site at the station facility.
This is a full-time on-site position required to support both the NBCU-owned television station facility at 4001 Nebraska Avenue in Washington DC and NBCUniversal's DC Bureau at 400 North Capitol St NE. The schedule assumes a 3-day/2-day split between facilities, subject to change weekly based on operational needs.
The position reports to the SVP, Facilities in Rock Center Operations and will partner closely with SVP and VP's across the Rock Center Operations – Facilities team to ensure operational oversight is consistent with NBCUniversal's facilities standards.
