As an Automotive Technician, you will perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy. Examining vehicles and diagnosing necessary repairs requires strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
You will communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts, ensuring minimal downtime for customer vehicles. Documenting all work performed is essential for quality control and customer communication. Road-testing vehicles when required or referring to the test technician ensures repairs meet our high standards.
Maintaining high safety and quality standards is non-negotiable. You must understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.
BMW experience is required for this position. At least 2 years of previous Automotive Technician experience is necessary. You must own a set of tools and have a valid driver's license with a good driving record. A high school diploma or equivalent and manual dexterity are required.
