The Fulfillment platform is the foundation powering logistics behind fulfilling user orders from any Uber app. It operates life cycles of orders, trips, drivers, eaters, and user sessions when they interact with Uber. These interactions are real-time and high-scale with millions of concurrent riders, drivers, and eaters using Uber simultaneously.
We support both Uber Rider businesses including pool, airports, hourly rentals, intercity trips, reservations, package delivery, and Uber Health. We also support Uber Delivery businesses including groceries, Uber Eats, and delivery API. Our tech challenges span both the business layer with data modeling and reusable APIs, and the Infrastructure layer with high-write transient data storage and event streaming systems.
In this role, you will lead teams responsible for core services powering real-time matching across Uber's Fulfillment platform. These systems efficiently and reliably connect supply with demand across Mobility and Delivery, optimizing for ETA, reliability, and platform efficiency within complex, high-volume, low-latency distributed environments.
As a manager, you will lead and grow high-performing engineering teams while owning the reliability, scalability, and evolution of these foundational systems. You'll drive technical excellence while developing talent and fostering innovation.
