Sonic Automotive is seeking a Recon Support Admin to help ensure the overall Repair Order process by providing administrative and clerical support for the Service Department. This position helps optimize the quality, timeliness, and record keeping for the administrative duties associated with service employees and vehicles.
You will open and close internal Repair Orders and add and finalize RO lines as needed. Paying sublet vendors and ensuring that required documentation is complete and in compliance with regulations and standards are essential duties. You will manage inbound phone inquiries and route calls appropriately.
Coordinating questions and issues with the appropriate department personnel and providing administrative assistance as needed are key responsibilities. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and the capacity to manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
This position offers $18-20/hour depending upon skills and experience. Benefits include Health, Dental, and Vision insurance. We are looking for candidates with a helpful attitude, friendly demeanor, and high level of professionalism and dependability.
High school diploma or GED required with some post-high school education or training preferred. One year of dealer-level or large facility experience is preferred. Industry knowledge, general knowledge of inventory control, and strong telephone, internet, and computer skills including Microsoft Office are necessary.
