Sonic Automotive is seeking a Document Specialist to join our Audi New Orleans dealership in Metairie, LA. This position is responsible for preparing deals to be sent to the Billing Clerk and ensuring smooth finance processing.
You will submit paperwork to and obtain approval from finance sources on all finance deals. The role requires ensuring that all required documentation is obtained and submitted to the finance source so that finance contracts can be paid in a timely manner.
You will work closely with the Sales Manager to secure a reasonable profit from every sale. This includes checking all paperwork for correct title, lien information, taxes, and other critical details.
The Document Specialist must establish and meet monthly objectives. Responsibilities include verifying insurance with customers' agents, obtaining deposits, and verifying trade payoffs.
Automotive dealership experience is preferred. Candidates should have knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures. Some weekend work is required. Must follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any accidents to a manager or supervisor.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Degree or commensurate experience in finance preferred. Computer knowledge, professional appearance, and excellent communication skills are essential.
