We are seeking a Document Management Summer Trainee who will support the Sakatti Project team by consolidating, verifying, and migrating historical project documentation from earlier study phases (PFS‑A and PFS‑A Restatement) into the Aconex document management system. This short‑term summer role (3 months) is designed to enhance project documentation quality by strengthening data integrity, improving traceability, and supporting governance compliance as the team prepares for feasibility‑stage execution readiness. Identify and retrieve historical project documentation from multiple repositories (e.g., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, shared drives). Review and check documents for completeness, correct revisions, and metadata accuracy (e.g., document number, title, revision status). Support the classification and structuring of documents in line with the project Document Control procedures and naming conventions. Upload and register documents into Aconex in accordance with project governance and document control standards. Assist in eliminating duplicates and flagging discrepancies or missing documentation. Maintain document logs, trackers, and migration registers to ensure full traceability of transferred records. Support document quality checks to ensure alignment with project requirements and audit readiness. Liaise with engineering and project teams to clarify document ownership and status where required.
Currently studying towards a Diploma or Degree in: Information Management / Library Sciences Engineering / Project Management Business Administration or related field Strong attention to detail and ability to work with structured data and documentation. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, SharePoint, Teams). Good organizational and administrative skills. Ability to follow procedures and maintain high levels of accuracy and confidentiality. Strong communication skills and ability to interact with multidisciplinary project teams. Advantageous: Exposure to document management systems (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint, EDMS). Advantageous: Understanding of document control principles in engineering or capital projects.
