The Director, Small Business Segment will be part of the Commercial/B2B team responsible for advancing Mastercard's small business efforts in Japan. This role reports to the Vice President, Commercial/B2B, Japan & Korea Division with dual reporting to the Vice President, SME Product, AP Region. The individual will be responsible for supporting Japan small business prepaid, debit, and credit cards performance.
You will drive strategy, product development and management, analysis and reporting, and sharing best practices. This role serves as the point of contact for Small Business product development and sales to internal partners and issuers. You will be responsible for delivering GDV, new customers, share, and revenue objectives for the market.
Develop and execute small business segment strategy, manage product development lifecycle, analyze market performance and trends, build relationships with issuers and internal partners, drive sales initiatives, report on key metrics, share best practices across regions, and deliver on GDV and revenue objectives. This role requires the ability to work both independently and in close partnership with internal stakeholders, thought leadership, influencing skills, and innovative thinking.
