Turner & Townsend seeks a Director of Risk Management to join our team to lead risk management services for key client accounts and support the growth of risk management services for our business. This is a senior leadership role that requires deep expertise in project and program risk management.
As Director of Risk Management, you will maintain visibility of threat and opportunity trigger points to facilitate risk cost profiling, timely drawdown of risk budget, or retirement of threat/opportunity. You will use risk data to inform investment planning, monitor overall risk exposure, and assess against the remaining risk budget. You will work with contractors to assess contractor-held risks and their views on client-held risks that impact upon them.
You will produce risk reports as required, in a timely manner, to support the effective communication of threat and opportunity status. You will conduct quantitative risk assessment (cost and schedule) to inform project contingency levels and ensure the delivery of best practice risk management activities. You will initiate a proactive approach to the review, development, and improvement of the risk management service to the client, undertaking end-to-end project risk management practice on multiple projects and programs.
You will lead workshops with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, conduct risk reviews at regular intervals, identify and analyze risks, determine response plans, and ensure that project and program risk profiles are being monitored and managed effectively.
