The Clinical Quality Leader I is a vital member of Northwestern Memorial Healthcare's quality improvement team, reflecting the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Medicine. This position plays a critical role in advancing clinical quality measurement and patient safety initiatives across the organization.
Collaborate with operational and medical leadership to identify, develop, and implement successful communication, education, and process solutions that engage staff and produce improved processes and outcomes. Perform comprehensive medical record reviews and data analysis to assist in identifying potential quality issues and opportunities for improvement in patient care services.
Lead or participate in local, regional, and system committees focused on quality improvement. Define, collect, analyze, and present data cogently to identify trends and drive evidence-based decision making. Master relevant evidence and literature in clinical areas, disciplines, and improvement science.
Candidates should possess knowledge of professional standards, current research, best practices, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Experience with performance improvement tools such as DMAIC and Lean methodologies is essential. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
