Stanford Medicine Children's Health is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse II to join our Interventional Radiology team in Palo Alto, CA. This position offers an opportunity to practice as a full partner on the healthcare team while demonstrating safe, competent professional nursing practice.
The Clinical Nurse II is an RN who possesses the knowledge, skills, and attitude to effectively meet standards for competent professional nursing practice. You will independently provide patient care through the application of the nursing process and accept accountability for the nursing care of assigned patients ranging in age from infancy to adult.
Clinical Nurse II demonstrates competency in Patient and Family Centered Care, Evidence Based Practice and Research, Safety, Continuous Quality Improvement, Teamwork, Technology/Informatics, Professionalism, and Leadership. You will work closely with the inter-professional healthcare team to facilitate coordination of care across the continuum.
The nurse focuses on expanding knowledge and skills necessary to provide individualized care based on physical, psychosocial, cultural, educational, safety, and age-appropriate considerations. Clinical Nurse II seeks feedback in assuming leadership roles and provides feedback for improved clinical practice.
Must perform all duties in accordance with hospital policies and Joint Commission Requirements including cultural diversity sensitivity, patient care standards, safety protocols, and ongoing education participation.
