Ummh is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our Operating Room team as part of the Baylor Program. This is a unique opportunity for healthcare professionals who want to work a condensed schedule while making a meaningful impact in patient care. The position offers 24 hours per week, working Saturday and Sunday on 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.
Under the direction of the RN circulator and in accordance with Medicare Conditions of Participation for surgical services, you will assist surgical teams during operative procedures. Your primary duties include scrubbing for all physicians in assigned services, arranging and inventorying sterile sets, and ensuring all surgical instruments and equipment are properly prepared and maintained. You will play a critical role in maintaining sterile fields and supporting the surgical team throughout procedures.
Candidates must hold current Surgical Technologist certification. Previous experience in an operating room setting is highly preferred. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure are essential for success in this role.
This position offers a competitive hiring range of $23.00 to $49.65 per hour, with final offers determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations. A signing bonus may be available - eligibility will be confirmed during the interview process.
