Ummh is seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our Hopkinton Internal Medicine and Pediatrics practice. This full-time position offers 40 hours per week with a Monday through Friday schedule, providing excellent work-life balance. Shift hours are Monday through Thursday from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Under the direction of the appropriate licensed clinician, you will provide clinical care and perform clerical duties to support office and clinic functions. Your responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examinations, assisting providers with procedures, administering medications as directed, performing EKGs and phlebotomy, scheduling appointments, managing patient communications, and maintaining accurate electronic health records. You will receive workplace education and training to assist in your professional development.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Current Medical Assistant certification is mandatory. Previous experience in a primary care or pediatrics setting is highly preferred. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency with electronic health records are essential. BLS Certification required.
This non-exempt position offers a competitive hourly range of $18.30 to $32.94, with final offers based on experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations. A signing bonus may be available - eligibility will be confirmed during the interview process.
