Position Overview

The Bookkeeper will provide accounting support for the property management team and function as a key member of the management team, reporting to the Senior General Manager, Retail Mall. This part-time position averages around 28 hours per week.

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $27.97 - $31.43 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable

• Make collection calls to tenants
• Enter cash receipts accurately
• Process billing adjustments
• Perform tenant ledger reconciliations

Accounts Payable

• Enter invoices into accounting system
• Ensure proper audit trail and supporting documentation

Lease Analysis

• Review leases and leasing activity
• Ensure accurate billing based on lease terms
• Review and calculate additional charges as applicable

Additional Duties

• Maintain sales information and files
• Collect and enter sales reports into accounting system
• Maintain vendor files and other necessary documentation
• Assist the property accountant as needed
• Complete additional work-related tasks as assigned

Requirements

Candidates should have relevant bookkeeping or accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with accounting systems. Excellent communication skills and ability to handle confidential information are essential.
