Open Roles
Mountain States Toyota is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our growing team. As we continue to break records in 2026, we value our technicians and their contributions to our success. This role is perfect for experienced professionals who take pride in their work and want to be part of a special organization.
Technicians perform vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned, following dealership and factory standards with efficiency and accuracy. You will diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform necessary repairs, communicating with the parts department to obtain needed components. When jobs are under warranty or requested by guests, you will save and tag parts appropriately.
You will examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required, notifying service advisors immediately if repairs cannot be completed within the promised timeframe or if outlined work is not needed. All work performed must be documented thoroughly. Road-testing vehicles when required is part of the role, keeping in mind that customer vehicles should never be used for personal errands.
Technicians supervise the work of any apprentice technicians assigned to them, providing guidance and mentorship. You will attend factory-sponsored training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins to stay current with the latest developments.
Maintaining a neat and clean shop area is essential, and you must be able to account for all dealership-owned tools at all times. This position requires sound judgment, manual dexterity, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
