Assist in managing daily IT operations, including networks, servers, telecommunications, and hotel systems Ensure high availability and performance of Property Management Systems (PMS), POS systems, and guest-facing technologies Oversee system upgrades, patches, and preventive maintenance Ensure reliable high-speed internet access throughout the property Support in-room technology, smart room features, and entertainment systems Collaborate with front office and guest services to resolve IT-related guest issues promptly Assist in implementing and maintaining cybersecurity policies and procedures Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and brand standards Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and respond to incidents Coordinate with external vendors and service providers Support IT-related projects such as system implementations, upgrades, and integrations Help manage IT budgets, procurement, and inventory Assist in developing and executing the hotel’s IT strategy Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction through technology Stay current with emerging hospitality tech trends
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5–8 years of IT experience, preferably in hospitality or luxury hotel environments Experience with hotel systems such as PMS (e.g., Opera), POS, and guest internet solutions Prior supervisory or leadership experience required Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and systems administration Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Strong leadership and team management skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment High attention to detail and commitment to service excellence
