AECOM is seeking a Graduate Overhead Line Equipment (OHLE) Engineer to join our growing Rail team in Brisbane. With a strong pipeline of major rail and infrastructure projects across Queensland and Australia, this is an exciting opportunity to begin your career working on large-scale, city-shaping transport projects.
OHLE is critical for modern rail, especially as cities move toward more sustainable, electrified transport systems. This role offers an excellent foundation for graduates looking to specialize in rail electrification and build a meaningful career in infrastructure.
Support the design of overhead line equipment systems, including wiring layouts and supporting structures. Assist in developing design documentation and drawings for rail electrification projects. Learn to apply relevant standards and specifications (e.g., 25kV AC, 750V DC and 1500V DC systems).
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as track, civil, power and signalling engineers. Contribute to construction support activities, including site inspections and technical queries. Support the identification and resolution of technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.
